Why Choose Agri-Management Solutions

There are many, many reasons northwest Indiana farmers decide to work with us. Here are just five.

Flexible

You tell Agri-Management Solutions what you want, and that’s what we do. As an independent company, we don’t have someone above us dictating inflexible procedures. We are here to serve you, according to your preferences and needs, whether that be the soil sampling pattern, the frequency of sampling or the timing. Brad and team are happy to accommodate.

Responsive

As a small company focused on soil sampling and crop advising, when you call needing sampling or field scouting or agronomy consulting, we respond. Quickly. That is typically not the case with a larger ag services company where soil sampling has to compete with more profitable work, such as selling fertilizer, seed, fuel, or equipment. As a result, you can be left waiting to get into the field until they can get to you. That won’t happen if you call Agri-Management Solutions.

Experienced

Brad has been doing soil sampling and crop advising for over 25 years from his location in La Porte County. In addition, he’s tested lots of products over the years to see which ones truly perform. That gives him a wealth of experience that informs his recommendations.

Unbiased

Agri-Management Solutions’s primary business is providing crop advising to farmers in northwest Indiana. That, of course, requires reliable soil sampling. Fertilizer dealers may have the best of intentions, but ultimately, they are motivated to sell fertilizer…and the ones with the highest profit margin. Since Agri-Management Solutions doesn’t sell chemicals, our recommendations are not colored by the need to push fertilizer products. While we do offer soil amendments and humic materials to improve soil health, we are not beholden to those companies. Agri-Management Solutions only offers these because they have been proven to help farmers lower their cost per bushel, and it is convenient for our growers to get those through us.

Trusted

Our farmer clients know that when Agri-Management Solutions recommends a product, it’s because it works, not because there is a financial incentive to move more product.

Over the years, we've learned to be skeptical of companies’ marketing claims. Brad puts them to the test. If products are proven to lower a farmer’s cost per bushel, we’ll recommend them to our farmer clients.

How does we know it works? The proof is in the plot! There is a 16-acre test plot behind the Agri-Management Solutions shop near Wanatah, IN where we systematically compare the results of new products compared to a control. And we installed subsurface drip irrigation in our test plot so we can document the positive impact it has made.
