Precise and accurate samples

Brad admits it. When it comes to soil sampling, he can be a little OCD. And that’s a good thing. When you have Agri-Management Solutions sample your soil, you can be sure the samples are being pulled from the exact right spot, and right depth, every time. After all, if the samples are not right, the fertilizer prescription won’t be either. That’s why everything is double checked to ensure that you get accurate results.

And as a small, independent company in northwest Indiana, Agri-Management Solutions has the flexibility to cater our services to your preferences. Want a specific sampling pattern? Need samples done right away? Agri-Management Solutions can accommodate.

Our team samples on any customer-chosen grid size or zone type based off of soil types, yield maps, or other key factors. Standard soil sampling depth is 6″-8″ but we don’t stop there. AgMS has the ability to test down to 2 feet! We will sit down with each client, review their farming operation and create a custom soil sampling plan. Once lab results are in, Brad - who is a Certified Crop Advisor and agronomist, will provide you with a custom fertilizer prescription to maximize crop yields. As an independent company we can send your spread maps and files to any fertilizer company you choose to use.

Crop advising goes hand-in-hand with soil sampling. Knowing the condition of your soil provides a baseline from which Agri-Management Solutions will operate. But as an independent crop consultant and agronomist, Brad can help in a variety of ways beyond initial field prescriptions.

Crop Scouting

Agri-Management Solutions can scout your field to check for pest problems, weed pressure, or nutrient deficiencies and then provide research-based recommendations. Our early season scouting allows for timely decisions for each field before there are impacts to yields. This insight allows you to apply fungicide, insecticides, and other pesticides, when the fields need it. Farm input costs are reduced by preventing over-application when fields don’t need additional applications.
